Saturday, it's a special day. It's the day we get ready for Sunday....

SATURDAY

Our fall Saturdays are usually pretty mellow. Sometimes Coleman has karate and Eric likes to work in the yard. We usually just hang around and spend time together. This Saturday is the exception. Coleman has a day long activity for gifted and talented kids at a local college. He goes to 5 or 6 interesting and fun classes with other kids labeled GT. He has to roam a college campus by himself and this always makes me very nervous, but the classes and professors are worth the worry. We bought him a cell phone for this very reason. Yes, the kid has a cell phone BUT he doesn't even care about it.... so that aspect of our lives is very uneventful.

Tate has to go collect donated food with his scout troop. It is a cold, rainy day so this will probably be a little miserable, but it is for a good cause. Afterwards they are setting off a rocket as a troop reward for good behavior etc.

Finally we are having Gabe's birthday party only 2 1/2 months late.... Better late than never. He is having the party at The Little Gym. We have never had a party there so hopefully it is fun. Our day should end with present and left over pizza.
